Here I am, in my late 20s, eating noodles in my shared rental… If 14-year-old me could see me now, he’d cry and say, “But God, Why?”
I once shared a video on my old Facebook Account, recorded a couple of years after my High School graduation; the video was of me performing a cover song. One of my high schoolmates commented saying, “Keeping the dream alive!”
Little did I know, that was God’s exhortation!
There was I, 13, in an airplane, headed to Australia. All I had were dreams of being the next Pop Star!
But somewhere along the road to stardom, I gave up on “The JESUS Dream.”
We’ve heard of the American dream.
The Jesus dream is revealed in His words, I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. (John 10:10)
Keeping the dream alive! As long as I keep the Jesus dream alive, a part of Christ and I will be together. If I had kept the Jesus dream alive in my teenage years, my life would have maintained a heavenward course.
Jesus has a dream for your life! Love Him and don't look back…
I know I must look to the Jesus dream!
God has been refining me for many years now!
I'm ashamed of the years I had given up on the Father's love.
Greater glory hath no man than this, that a man becometh a decided follower of Christ.
I was not saved by the love of a man, I was saved by the love of a God, even the only true God!
This is the Jesus dream: for me to make a sincere effort to enter into God’s rest, lest I earn myself the reward of unbelief.
